They're venting frustration for the fact that the Beatles music is loved so much more and by far more people than those who love the music they listen to. I listen to metal, hard rock and oldies venues and I love all of it. The fact remains, that without the oldies artists, rock would not have the venues available today. The Beatles were pioneers influencing rock more than any group including the Stones- period.
The Beatles didn't record a few hard rock tunes but many (Revolver, White Album, Let It Be Album, Abbey Road). The metal guys that hate music that brought them metal, should loosen-up and enjoy the forunner groups. They are missing-out terribly. Can you image Elvis (for example) doing a metal song in 1957?!! Not even possible -- it had to evolve and music-appreciation retards, should face facts. The Beatles wrote the most magnificent songs that have been recorded...period (metal groups attest)!
Continued--- They don't understand rock evolved (had to) and the Beatles followed directly behind "bee-bop" type music, in their early days. All of that music is gold! If it werent for it, today's music would not exist (hear well - Beavis & Butthead!). The Beatles literally invented heardrock guitar riff and recorded some of the first elements of metal (forerunners to Led Zeppelin). Many metal groups atribute the Beatles as their greatest influence, including Ozzie Osbourne. (See my next post)

It takes an absolute twerp (usually a young-en) who says "the Beatles suck". They're venting frustration for the fact that the Beatles music is loved so much more and by far more people than those who love the music they listen to. I listen to metal, hard rock and oldies venues and I love all of it. The fact remains, that without the oldies artists, rock would not have the venues available today. The Beatles were pioneers influencing rock more than any group including the Stones- period.

The Beatles didn't record a few hard rock tunes but many (Revolver, White Album, Let It Be Album, Abbey Road). The metal guys that hate music that brought them metal, should loosen-up and enjoy the forunner groups. They are missing-out terribly. Can you image Elvis (for example) doing a metal song in 1957?!! Not even possible -- it had to evolve and music-appreciation retards, should face facts. The Beatles wrote the most magnificent songs that have been recorded...period (metal groups attest)!

Continued--- They don't understand rock evolved (had to) and the Beatles followed directly behind "bee-bop" type music, in their early days. All of that music is gold! If it werent for it, today's music would not exist (hear well - Beavis & Butthead!). The Beatles literally invented heardrock guitar riff and recorded some of the first elements of metal (forerunners to Led Zeppelin). Many metal groups atribute the Beatles as their greatest influence, including Ozzie Osbourne. (See my next post)

First of all, the "heavey metal" guys (so-called) are often the ones who claim hate of music from groups like the Beatles. These guys have extreme deficiency in knowledge, coming from several views, including the idea that unless a rock group used constant distortion and feedback they were lame (see my next post continued---)

Like the Beatles or not, you cannot, absolutely CANNOT argue against the fact that they were the most influential band of all time. They influenced so many rock artists of the 70's. They set the standard for so many artists. They were even voted #1 in VH1's 100 greatest artists of all time. Those votes were cast by TODAY'S artists. You simply can't deny it. You would be ignorant to say that the Beatles did not change the music industry.

The Beatles are the best band EVER! & the arguement that "the instrumentals to the vocals have no technicality" remember this STILL the 60s, the era of music before were doo waps & the classic oldie sounds, this is one of the first bands to do something different like, groove looping, fuzzbox, made piano sounds sound like harpsichord, technical sounds the back vocals, they pratically invented rock! & they're lyrics are filled with so much passion and were complex compared to the usual concept

i do give the beetles mad props for how successful they were, but let's face it, there music is nowhere near as technical sounding as i like my music (animals as leaders, august burns red, born of osiris, norma jean) and i'm not the type to listen to all screamy stuff either (soty, btf, etf...ok so they do get a bit screamy lol XD) but everything from the instrumentals to the vocals just have no technicality to them... once again i do respect them and their success, just not my style

I just don't like it when people say that the Beatles weren't MUSICALLY talented. It's okay if it's not your thing, but they could play the crap out of every form of music. They played everything from songs like "Honey Pie" (50's love song style) "Helter Skelter," (Opinion: origin of heavy metal, or along those lines), the entire album, "With the Beatles," was the embodyment of the early 60's, psychadelic songs out the wazoo, and "The White Album," of course, that is, if you appreciate music...
