  • Nice claymation! This brings back my childhood.

  • It's cool.Like it. Short and Sweet

  • fantastic! wish I had the time and space dedicated to this stuff

  • Pretty well done! Nice job!

  • lol

  • press 3 for some x-rated action

  • Nice animation and voicing :)

  • this viseo is just wierd.... but i liked itt haha

  • Wow ... did yo make it?

  • Fantastic job! Great set! I see lots of patience here. Spot on Wallace voice. Thanks for the glimpse behind the scenes.

  • So funny!

  • this is very smooth, "job well done lad!"

  • for the replacement mouths, did you make the entire head or just manipulated the mouth?

  • @parkerphil20 Thanks for watching and for asking. Both methods have been used throughout the history of stop-motion animation, but for this kind of character, it is far easier to replace just the mouth. To have replacement heads would be difficult because the eyes and eyebrows are always different thus resulting in too many variables. Of course the option I ended up utilizing because of the type of clay I had was simply remolding the mouth each frame instead of replacing.

  • @snooglyproductions -thanks for replying i think this is the best wallace tribute ever, its sooo like the original one, well done.

I use van aken, and roma plasticina, roma is better as its much harder and doesnt waver according to the climate,

How many minutes per frame it took you?

  • @parkerphil20 I generally animate at 15 fps, and for this particular project, it took me over fifteen hours total to animate 400 frames . This means that on average each frame took me about 2.25 minutes to animate.

  • can you link me to where you got your camera?

  • @EGClanProductions Greetings! I actually purchased the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 webcam from ebay. Just type in the product name and you will see ample "new in package" units to choose from at prices lower than you would find them from the company itself. Happy bidding!

  • Impressive! What lighting, camera and software did you use? (besides Monkey Jam)

    Many thanks!

  • @Pesskie Thanks. My light source was a simple lamp clipped to a tripod behind the camera. Please see behind the scenes pictures after video. The camera is a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 webcam. It is about as good a webcam you can get though reasonably priced. It is really good quality too. The reason the video is so blurry is because I had accidentally utilized the digital zoom which blurred it up. I edited the music with Audacity and I edited the video with Windows Movie Maker.

  • THIS IS AMAZING!!!!

  • great wall ace impression

  • Mmm... Oooh! I didn't see ya there Lad! Why dont we go into the kitchen and have a nice big plate of CHEESE!! LMAO!

  • That's actully a good Wallace impression!

  • That was fantastic!

  • That was amazing 0_o

  • dudes upsessed with cheese XD

  • wow that was amazing!

  • whaaat he had no legs?! haha =D I was wondering how he was gliding to the centre of the screen! =D

  • Very Cool! I would like it if you could make a tutorial on the mouth movements. i will be trying this stop motion soon and i have purshased a wallace and gromit plasticine set, so i would find it very useful if you made a tutorial so i can have a go at this. Thanks.

    And Btw...

    Great Movie!!!

  • Wallace looks great, when ever I try to make him he looks crap, great job

  • wow, the lip movements were really great! Did you use replacement mouths, or just animate the clay on his face?

  • @terrymation I started out using replacement mouths, but because I use a soft plasticine, it ended up being easier to simply resculpt the face each frame.

  • @snooglyproductions interesting, thanks for the reply

  • WOW :D

  • Awesome! the lip-sinc is even better than the wallace and gromit original! Great job!

  • Well done on winning on wallace and gromit . com

    What did you win?

  • @TallAnimations Thanks! "A Grand Day In" is a runner up in the contest. I know that one of the things the grand prize winner receives is a Nick Park signature! Also given are the complete W & G collection on DVD, and a W & G apron based on "A Matter of Loaf and Death." Runners up at least get the souvenier apron. Cheers! And thanks for watching!

  • Where's the kitchen? I can't wait to see that set! :)

  • Comment removed

  • So..... let's head to the kitchen. OH wait, THERE IS NO KITCHEN!! Anyway, it was pretty well done. By the way, who goes to the kitchen just to eat some cheese?

  • Wow... I have never seen anyone other then Aardman animate a Wallace model so well!

  • Excellent work Quinn. I encourage you to pursue this art.
