  • Thanks man I have been wondering how to fix this and now I realize how simple it is.. I feel stupid XD

  • I think my cyma m14 socom hopup bucking and nub needs replacing, I think. My rounds come out and then go down after 60 to 70 feet and the hop up is turned all the way up.

  • @pdx650 Definitely check the hop-up bucking for any rips, tears, or other damage. If your range suddenly went out the window, you may be leaking air somewhere. There could be a problem inside the mechbox as well (such as a bad piston head o-ring, or crack/damage to the air seal nozzle.) I would definitely start with a thorough inspection or just straight replacement of the hop-up.

  • @Mechbox6mm Thanks, very much, for the advice. I think the compression is fine because some rounds (maybe every seventh or tenth one) actually goes the distance it is supposed to go and straight.

I would like to be living near a supply store, but I don't. I've never taken apart my aeg, but your tutorial looks thorough. I should have no trouble finding out what is the culprit....having this be the first time ever going into my replica.

I hope it is just the hop up. I'll let you know.

  • I now really hate M14s.

  • so to get to the hop up i have to do all this crap?! aha very good video thanks

  • great video man thanks

  • oh fuck, i thought this was for an ACTUAL m14. I saw the wires and was like "wtf?!?"

  • i can not seem to remove the final pin before removing the reciever

  • It's called a heat shield, not a foregrip.
