This is not worth it. Driving drunk that is. To end up dead, or in jail...this will never leave you. You'll remember it for the rest of your life. Not only did you ruin the lives of so many, but you've also ruined yours.
I have been watching quite a few of these videos lately, I and the one think in common is that these people who seem to be Nice and kind, make one stupid mistake that cost people their lives. I think these type of videos should be required marital in schools. Too many people are making poor judgments, They need to be thought to stop and think before they act. Otherwise it may be too late in the end. Thank you for putting these up, please continue to do so.
Ya like sentencing a teen who will never be able to live with herself for what she did o 12 years in prison will bring any good. She was not a even a bad person, yes she made a horrible stupid mistake but never did she have any intent for it to turn out the way it did. I mean god what a heartless prick, she obviously is going to hate herself for the rest of her life for what she did isn't that enough for your so called justice system.
The acting was good,I feel for the families and friends of those killed or seriously injured in accidents involving alcohol.I just wish that people, not just teenagers would not get behind the wheel after they have been drinking, call a cab or get a ride,by all circumstances do not drive!!!
As if sentencing her to 12 years is going to make a big difference, or send a message to those who will decide to drink and drive. Because no matter what drinking and driving will occur no matter what (sad fact, but true). Instead of spending money on imprisoning people they should spend the money on education. And this girl seems as if she learned her lesson, maybe a couple years at most but 12 years? Rehabilitation would be better than incarceration as well.
Well the American justice system sometimes seems to like to pretend they're keeping people safe locking people away for a long long time. They get the idea that severe punishment solves everything. Also its hard to fear the system if it seems caring and understanding. Really how are you going to keep people in fear if you show some kind of weakness like compassion.
Well I think lots of people don't really think about the consequences or the fear when they do something "criminal", lots of people think in the moment. I think our way with dealing with "crime" needs to be reformed.....prisons are largely a relic of the 19th century (continued today). And even though humans think they have mastered rationality and free will.....when it comes down to it our unconscious drives and physiology are largely important for our behavior, as any other animal.
We are largely biological machines with no free will.....this is a scientific fact. Now people who break the law either may need a slap on the wrist (most of the time), though for more severe cases a person should only be locked up if he/she is a danger to others. I think most inmates....especially those non-violent drug offenders and even drunk drivers are safe to be kept unlocked and at most in some sort of rehab. If science ran things...this is likely what would happen.
it woulda been a cool shot if when they were first walking up at about 15 seconds the camera kept walking fowards between them. Good acting by the way, ours was horrible. Great job, of all the other e15s ive seen including the one i worked on this one made me cry the most, except for when i was editing I just kept think about my mom who recently passed away, It was realy hard. She was the most amazing mother! I love her so much!
