Damn, I want that house (the way it was in the movie, they remodeled the inside- yuck) and not just because it was in the movie, but because it looked so comfy and cozy. Makes you wish it was Christmas all year long. I want it !!!

Awesome house. I just wish that they would not have changed the look of the inside. It almost looks like a totally different house inside.

@tammyvidalia most of the inside you see in the movie was not shot in the house, it was in a studio built in a high school gym in Chicago, exept for the staircase and the window behind the christmas tree..

@garywingrove the same thing happened with the Christmas Story house. If there ever comes a day when i could afford to purchase it and preserve it, I will definitely do so, but I won't hold my breath.
