Sorry MurunB em would you mind if i asked where your from??? Like you said you had fan club tickets where they dear??? Its just I wanted to join the fan club and am Irish and was wondering is it worth it???
We're from North West UK, although have family in Ireland. The tickets should have been about £700 for 2, but we got them for half price as they were advertised at the wrong price on the fan club site.
Is the fan club worth it?
Absolutely so far - we've had some fantastic experiences with the fan club and they *always* deliver.
Having said that, the fan club are about to change the way they do things - currently it is run by JBJ's brother but he is handing things over to a big business.
I have beaten myself up a bit about this since I can tell you! There's many events where I've more or less missed what was going on because I was too busy taking pictures or whatever and I'd decided to just enjoy the day this time; still I really should have waited another 30 seconds!
I was working in the funfair thing at this event, Because Bon Jovi demanded the fair to be shut down, we walked in with our hi-visibility vests and got through security no problem! I wasn't particularly a Bon Jovi fan, but wow! they put on an amazing show! Was well worth what we paid! lol
Great show and great cover songs.
I had a sore throat after it and thats from just not being a fan!
Nah I doubt there was 80 thousand. That's oxegens limit and oxegen has around 5 or 6 stages to split the crowd. My guess, around 50,000. Great gig though regardless of how many people attended :D
Crackly sound could be the microphone "clipping" as the sound was too loud for it.
The mic on the camera I used (Ricoh R6) is awful, but seemed to cope well with very very loud sound.
I didn't do anything to these videos, other than to convert to mpeg before uploading, I have used something like Sony Vegas 6.0 in the past for this. This is because it allows you to edit the sound seperately from the video. Look on Wikipedia for "open source video software" (I have run out of space now)
More to come - we just got back from Ireland about 3 hours ago so I'll upload more over the next few days. I have the whole of Hallelulagh in great quality too!

I don't know, but from the many gigs we've been to I would guess there were at least 80,000 there.
