dedicated servers haven't changed the host advantage thing.

Man, you can be on dedicated servers, if you got the fiber optic or any other very fast connection you're going to own everyone.

To tell you, I've never had the host => NEVER! I mean it. Then I can't play enough, and I can't improve my skills. I mean...you are a "great player" in fact BECAUSE you got host. Be aware of that.

Without host in GOW2 my ratio is 0.9. On GOW3 1.9, and still, we often lose against scandalous connections

They have host migration now and there's still host advantage well they say they use dedicated servers but use only host migration when there servers are too full....??? Total bs man fuck epic for this shit but gotta luv the game

just to put this out there i hate when your the host and everybody on the opposite team is better connected to you than your team. In other words you are normal damage like when you play the campaign and everybody else has shots like their whole clip is active when its not. like me i have broadband and everytime i host a match in gears 1 or 2 i get downed in 1 or 2 shots and it takes me 3 or 4 to down someone >:( huuuuuuuh i hope gears 3 isn't this much bullshit

@360Hostile It's called counter aiming. You simply down the joystick to compensate for the recoil. Mods have no impact on aim, only fire rate.

Actually you don't move faster usually everyone but host moves faster. Host tends to be sludgy. Such as wall bouncing tends to be harder. Gears of war 3 has confirmed dedicated servers and host migration and tdm.

My connection isn't bad since I usually get host 80% of the time. It's because their skill level wasn't up to par with mines and I have advanced movements which makes me harder to hit.

@OwnDiZzL3 No I'm gonna go with, you play with friends so you have a larger party, and since the game only gives host to people with Open NAT and the party leader, that raises your chance, Gears of War 2 chooses host at random, when I had a shittier internet connection like 5 months ago before I changed to cable, I had 1.5 MB download and 0.3 Upload, that translates to like 5 seconds of bullet delay, I got host every other game.
