There have been rumors saying some of the main characters will be dying before the end of the season. And I have a terrible feeling Katherine will be one of them. I hope to God they don't kill her off, Bonnie and Katherine are my favorite characters on the show. If they kill her off, I seriously think my heart will break. Instead I hope they kill off Johnathan Gilbert, I hate him more than he hates vampires. As long as Bonnie, Damon, Stefan, Elena and Katherine don't die, I'll be good. =)
