Yes i can have depression, but even when i am happy i do not see the need to go out and "let loose and have fun" by getting drunk and laid. I know the process of sex, i know about all the physical and emotional stuff that sex entails. But i'm still not interested. I am my own person.

@freddyfan951 Sex is a natural process that has been with us since the stone age. But unlike eating, warmth, and the dispelling of waste, you will not die if you don't have sex. Procreation is what sex is for, so it's pointless if you don't want kids. I don't want to get married, or have children (though i may adopt some day) I am not at the mercy of my hormones and don't know any better. If i never have sex, oh well. If i do, o well.

@FemmeBleu Some people still consider themselves asexual if that is the strongest feeling (or sexuality) they can relate to. I prefer not having sex with people but i don't 100% hate the idea and I still consider myself asexual.

This video pisses me off. You shouldn't have to denounce being a "prude" through the defense that you make "an awful lot of sex jokes." That's just vulgar and distasteful. You stereotype "prude" as being socially inadequate in the sense that they can't take a naughty joke/whatever, and also imply that they are sexually naive. FACT: Anyone can be a prude, sexual, asexual, virginal, or otherwise. Some Asexuals can stand such talk, by the way - I'm on of them - and that does NOT make us prude!

@hviw ok i respect your opinion but, you can have a sexual drive and still be asexual, its one can have a sexual drive in the moment but not even be attracted in indulging in the act of sex. hence, one can want to have sex but they are not attracted to the idea of having sex, thus one essentially takes matters into their own hands, or essentially masterbates. One can not say how the other feels, then that person is labeling them, and that person does not have the right to do so whatsoever.
