You obviously don't understand that this is an annual rivalry game that goes back to the 60s, Harbor's first stint in the Sunset League. It will likely continue even if we were to become a Pac-5 power and break into the USA Today top 25 someday.
Harbor has done bigger things. They've won a Sunset League title and made the playoffs in 2007. Only reason they didn't make it this year is because their name wasn't drawn out of a hat. Literally. They could have been a semi finalist in 2008.
the day harbor breaks into the USA today top 25 is when college football has become a true failure, if you want to become a top program go try and play some teams from texas, alabama, or florida. A middle of the road Texas team would blow you out Harbor, Your little island of orange county football is respectable, but don't consider yourselves a part of that group. Everyone knows Mater Dei, Servite, and Edison, Texas only knows Newport Harbor as that pathetic school that had a show on MTV...ew

Sure what karkaroff says is right, and yes we have a horrible High School Football team, I was there at that game, but on CDM's side, I'm sorry to say these things about our school, but still I have to say, I'd rather be at CDM than at Newport Harbor. We have better teachers, except for Bloomfield.

It's a rivalry game so fair enough. Regardless of the direction Harbor is taking in the Sunset League, this game is always taken seriously. As with all rivalry games, it's not beyond the realm of reason to expect a close game regardless of the level of talent on either team.
