There is not one thing that this band does that can be compared to another band.So why have dancers whn ever other HBCU has them.You speak of too many ppl but what does that have to do with the sound of the band.Further more the 100 was under 250 ppl during 05,06 and still maintained to be a dominate program.

The drum majors REPRESENT the number of presidents who have came through the university. Yet another thing to add to the list of being INCOMPARABLE. The Drum Majors Represent the number of Presidents who have served at this college, which happens to be one of the top institutions in the nation. There are things that people who have not gone to FAMU will not EVER understand. There are things that people who have not emersed themselves in Black culture in THIS country will ever understand. Furthermore, YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN THE "100" perform LIVE..OSU could NEVER EVER DANCE like FAMU's Marching 100. OSU is just a large brass band...and that's incomplete.watch and observe and most of all LISTEN to the FAMU Marching 100 and you will here a complete full surround sound band with a brass section, woodwind section, and percussion section 3 out of 3! And that is a complete band!
