The pistons were in a terrible situation chemistry wise but with Hamilton (amnesty) and Tayshaun (UFA) gone, they can finally start moving forward with their rebuilding project.
Ben Gordon scored 20 PPG on multiple seasons off the bench, that's All-star level. He's still relatively young and there's no reason why he doesn't contend for 6xth man of the year starting next season.
@Has1b there's no reason that gordon should've been signed that ridiculous contract in the first place. you don't pay 55 million for a bench player. i'm sorry, i don't care how "good" of a scorer he is, you don't do that. he should be waived since rip is about to become an expiring contract with only a partially guaranteed year left after this season. he could be moved at the deadline or in the offseason. let stuck take the 6th man role where he belongs and let knight develop at the PG spot.
