Um this that you know ACKBAR'S SHIP IS HOME ONE. Not Serenity the flag ship of the entire rebel fleet would not be named after some dumn movie. And even if the the imperials were losing they are more know to save there star destroyers then fight until the end. And the imperials and just warp in with new ships in a nearby system it easy to know when you have empire at war because a nearby imperial fleet can get to ryloth in like 5 seconds. And they still have a groung army

and Ryloth was in the Outer Rim, a bit far from reinforcements, later, when the Serentity was destoryed, Home One was made the new flagship
