That log is a flat top now too. I do mostly building and Steve, the rider in that video is my test pilot. He's a much better rider now and it's tough for me to come up with stunts he can't ride. The way he rides now he wouldn't need the ramps, just hop on and huck off.
Sorry, I can't tell you where that trail is. It's my private network. If you know the Middle School trails, you might want to try the new log ride on Steve's. I just finished it last week. It's a little tamer than the one in the video but it's the middle school trails. Everything has to be tamer there. We have 5 year olds riding those trails.
lol i know steve cross he rides with the bike club at the middle school, also i helped clear out the shilal at the end of the new log ride on steves so you could ride up it
I found that log and was going to build a real log ride. Steve said he wanted to ride it raw. He spent 8 hours building the ramps and 26 attemps / crashes later he rode the log. That was it. He never came back. A wind storm knocked the ramps down and I'm rebuilding it with the top of the log flattened so other people can ride it. That kid has dedication.
this is in qualicum?? i could go down there whhnever haha :P

It's not there anymore. A couple of big trees came down on it & since it was a one time only thing, I cleared out all the dimension wood and left it.
