Thank you very much for this video! I am just starting to learn this piece myself, and I am very glad for both this and the link to buy the CD. It didn't show up on Amazon when I searched for the piece because the page doesn't have individual pieces listed, so I had no idea this recording even existed! It's a glorious piece of music indeed. The pedal cadenza is TERRIFYING!

@bondmatty You're welcome. I heard him live in The Hague (Kloosterkerk), in 1989 or something. He makes the music of Bach swing.

@davostworld1 It's not available on DVD, as far as i know. I recorded it myself. (We have the BBC here in Holland, on cable television.)

I had the pleasure of hearing Simon Preston many years ago and if anything, he's improved with age. The Barber Toccata Festiva is another underplayed,fantastic piece of music.Thanks for posting this!
