Yea it's ok, but it seems to me you have enough skill to move up if you so chose. Here some numbers and where I live insurance is one of the highest in america from what I hear, I'm 22 and married, $31 per month for a 500 and $33 per month for a 650 if you got a 650 you would be safer as you could actually get away from that stupid teenager testing next to you on the freeway
you should be careful riding that on the freeway. when an engine cruises over we'll say 7 to 10 rpm it does burn alot of oil and this is bad for the engine.
my car can barely go 80 mph and people say the 250 cant go on the interstate is bs, i commute to work everyday with a car that weighs 4200 pounds with only 73 horsepower. struggles up even small inclines. but i love it i love to see people in thre lexuses and stuff get pissed off and pass i just smile and flick them off. i own a 03 250 also and i absolutely love it.
I have a 650R and I think I'm going to record one of my trips too. Its kind of interesting watching other people and I wonder what people will think watching one of mine.
I'm on a Vulcan 750, the ultimate maintenance free work commuter. Even handles great in the snow here in Minnesota, as long as it's no more than 3 or 4 inches deep... no problem! Been thinking about a 250 also, for commuting, but was always leary about a 250 on the freeway. Now that I see how easily a 250 handles the freeway with plenty to spare, I will proceed with the purchase! What a joy it is to cruise past gas stations! Thank you very much! (Kawi Eliminator 125 on the freeway? 100mpg? Hmmm)
awesome. your 250 did well so it seems. morning traffic here is easily 60-75MPH, passing at 85MPH is pretty much mandatory. stay safe and keep riding!
Oh my.. it must really suck riding a 250..I've seen scooters go faster than that. But I guess you should do what you have to do, to "Let the good times roll."
u live in frisco?..so do i..u should record going down some steep streets...like california st...or maybe show people the bay bridge ^.^ im 2 broke to afford a camera..so nice vids..
Awesome! I can recognize that you took the 134E to the 2N. At that point especially on the 2 north it is just uphill all the way until you hit the 210 or so. Were you able to go around 70mph while on 2north going uphill? Two reason I rated this 5/5 stars. 1) you used subtitles instead of talking. not that talking is bad but subtitles is just quicker to read than to listen through. 2) you fast forwarded through the dull parts.

Probably let the clutch out too quickly and not enough throttle.
