  • Yea it's ok, but it seems to me you have enough skill to move up if you so chose. Here some numbers and where I live insurance is one of the highest in america from what I hear, I'm 22 and married, $31 per month for a 500 and $33 per month for a 650 if you got a 650 you would be safer as you could actually get away from that stupid teenager testing next to you on the freeway

  • a lot of noise but not really moving forward lol

  • The new 250 can handle the freeway a lot better btw.

Either way, its not enough for me, I am getting a zx6

  • so is it ok to take the 250 on the freeway or not?

  • I've been riding my ninja 250 everyday to work, and that's on 20 miles of 70mph freeway... so yes, it is ok.

  • I enjoyed watching your video!

  • oh wow this goes directly to my house in La Canada lol.

  • lol

  • Lol great vid...

  • use synthetic oil, and you'll be fine with the burning.

  • you should be careful riding that on the freeway. when an engine cruises over we'll say 7 to 10 rpm it does burn alot of oil and this is bad for the engine.

  • my car can barely go 80 mph and people say the 250 cant go on the interstate is bs, i commute to work everyday with a car that weighs 4200 pounds with only 73 horsepower. struggles up even small inclines. but i love it i love to see people in thre lexuses and stuff get pissed off and pass i just smile and flick them off. i own a 03 250 also and i absolutely love it.

  • Looks like you started in Studio City? I'm not too far from you lol. Great vid, great subtext - thank you!

  • This freeway is literally three miles from my house in Glendale :)

  • did u stall out @ 6 mins

  • dude i fravorited this vid as soon as the music started lol.. great job! the text was as good if not better than some voice narations lol no offense.

  • I have a 650R and I think I'm going to record one of my trips too. Its kind of interesting watching other people and I wonder what people will think watching one of mine.

  • I rode a 250 ninja from miami to atlanta once with no problem.I am on a zx10r now but would have no problem riding with a rider on a 250 ninja

  • what do u gusy do at ur group rides?

just wondering since ill be getting a 250 in a couple months

  • hang out, get food, try not to crash or get pulled over

  • I'm on a Vulcan 750, the ultimate maintenance free work commuter. Even handles great in the snow here in Minnesota, as long as it's no more than 3 or 4 inches deep... no problem! Been thinking about a 250 also, for commuting, but was always leary about a 250 on the freeway. Now that I see how easily a 250 handles the freeway with plenty to spare, I will proceed with the purchase! What a joy it is to cruise past gas stations! Thank you very much! (Kawi Eliminator 125 on the freeway? 100mpg? Hmmm)

  • Oh yeah, And what camera setup do you have??? Never seen one hooked up in the helmet like that.

  • Sweet vid..Not saying theres anything wrong with it, But what made you decide on a 250, Instead of something bigger..Like the 650R?? Just curious

  • Hey, cool video. Is this the 2008 250R?

  • Nah, 2003.

  • LoL @ "This part always creeps me out"

  • nice bike kid

  • thanks kid

  • I just turned 18 and i cant wait 2 get the Ninja 650R. Can u ride it on the freeway? How does it do on the freewy?

  • 650r has plenty of power on the highway... same with the ex500

  • hey thanks for the answer. RIDE SAFE!!!

  • hey thanks for the answer. RIDE SAFE!!!

  • How tall are you? do you find that your feet are flat on the ground?

  • I'm around 5'7 and my feet are very flat on the ground with this bike.

  • lol at like 4:25 you were passing IN-N-OUT, i go there like 2 times a week lol.

  • Cool!

  • actually ABC studios film many programs for NBC such as scrubs and the tonight show for example.

  • excellent video!

  • yes it is normal for the ninja to burn oil all of them do

  • awesome. your 250 did well so it seems. morning traffic here is easily 60-75MPH, passing at 85MPH is pretty much mandatory. stay safe and keep riding!

  • on my 06 Bitchette 250, i can get her over 100mph. im 165 lbs. I call my Ninja, my "bitchette", because she likes to SCREEEEEAAAAAAMMMM!

and thats the way she likes it. :)

  • rofl nice nice...thinking about gettin a ninja 650R, just turned 18 though...maybe a graduation gift? :D

  • Oh my.. it must really suck riding a 250..I've seen scooters go faster than that. But I guess you should do what you have to do, to "Let the good times roll."

  • I hate to say it, but ABC can't be the home of The Tonight Show because The Tonight Show is on NBC.

  • doh

  • oh snapsies, that overpass with the shitty railing is scary. i'd wizzle my tizzle.

  • u live in frisco?..so do i..u should record going down some steep streets...like california st...or maybe show people the bay bridge ^.^ im 2 broke to afford a camera..so nice vids..

  • Nah, I'm in L.A. I do have photos from my Ninja 250 trip to Point Arena that I could make into a quick video slide show though.

  • ah..thats coo..i thought the sf in ur name meant san francisco...[nice vids]

  • Yeah the part where you get on the 2 always freaks me out to!

  • Hey no offense but your first couple vids were kinda boring, but this one was good. Keep it up.

  • Awesome! I can recognize that you took the 134E to the 2N. At that point especially on the 2 north it is just uphill all the way until you hit the 210 or so. Were you able to go around 70mph while on 2north going uphill? Two reason I rated this 5/5 stars. 1) you used subtitles instead of talking. not that talking is bad but subtitles is just quicker to read than to listen through. 2) you fast forwarded through the dull parts.

mordeth13 could learn a few pointers from this video.

    good job!

  • The Ninja will easily do 70mph uphill!

  • Once again nicely done. But what caused the stall at 6:04?

  • Me screwing up in 1st gear.

  • Kill the throttle too quickly?

  • Probably let the clutch out too quickly and not enough throttle.

  • ha, I liked the music.
