Their functionality is being upgraded. The treatments are making them more able to learn & do neurotypical things. I even got into a major drama school in my 20's only to be diagnosed at 41. Loads of us diagnosed later in life.
If you gave their siblings and yourselves the same diets & treatments, you'd see what was really going on.
Detox. Good luck with this if it gets positive results. But do not tell us lies about recovering anyone from the way their brains are made.

I can't stand when people say that you have to accept autism. R U you kidding me?!!! Maybe you're child doesn't have the same tendencies as mine otherwise you wouldn't be saying that. my son is 8 yrs old & spits everywhere, urinates on things, hits his sister w/objects like rocks & that's just to name a few. I cannot leave him alone for a second bc of his impulsiveness & obsessions. my son's milestones were on track until 18 months then he went into his own world.

Ok, I just saw my comments from 6 months ago- wow, I can't believe that was my son! He is dressing himself, requesting hugs and tickles, using a go talk 20 with multiple pages, swimming w/out floaties, comprehending language and starting to speak. Apparently he is lead, aluminum, tin, cadmium and mercury toxic! We have been doing chelation therapy for the last 6 months, he can eat wheat now and is improving every day! We will do HBOT next.
I have a form of Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, I was like most of the kids until, my parents and my teacher Mrs. Payne took some time to know me and how to deal with my Autism. All parents need to do is to get to know their children, spend some time with them and help them understand how to work with their feelings.
He had Autism since the very first vaccine, it got worse with every dr appt, at 4 months he got intussecption, the drs let him turn blue in the name of waiting for him to get better, when I screamed "why are you killing my baby" they put a balloon filled with air in his anal cavity and he turned white again, this was a simple procedure I cant imagine why they would wait. His intestines are still not right. He has never had any language, Im frustrated.
My son is on the GFCG diet has been for over 3 years, the runny nose is gone and his skin is better, but the autism is still severe. We've been going to a dan dr for 2 years, he still bites himself, but he is able to interact a small ammount. Still cant talk or play with toys, in fact he was just diagnosed MR. He looks completely normal, and loves to be tickled and sometimes he cuddles for a few seconds, I'd like to know what some of you did- exactly, ABA has done nothing for him.

And yes, I am the father of a child with autism. And yes, we have tried every conceivable intervention. My son's condition did not change at all on any of the diets. In fact, he improved after we stopped all diet-nonsense. And all the bio-med tests and creams were just a collassal waste of money. The only intervention that has shown any difference is ABA. That and hours and hours and hours of working with my son.
Videos like this -- and the works of JB Handley, David Kirby, Jenny McCarthy, etc. -- give false hope to too many parents. Most autistic children don't experience seizures, sudden regression, or gut symptoms after a vaccine. The fact that a handful of children seem to experience anectdotal improvement after bio-med is not proof of a cure. Parents should devote their energy and money with ABA and related therapies.

yes i agree, but dont leave all your trust on them.. They arent always right. Sometimes they see so much of a certain thing with autism, they almost immediately diagnose new subjects quicker and quicker. This can be dangerous, you become so secure in your generalization in symptoms.

with biomedical, do the children stay on special diets for the rest of their life or at some point they don't follow the special diet anymore?. Can they fall back deeply into autism if the diet is not followed.

Dear Joedabojo, please never give up HOPE and please don't discourage the rest of us from our vision of HOPE. Even if the diet doesn't work for my son, or the therapies, I pray I will always have HOPE and encourage others to try everything (within reason) to help their child. Every recovered child is a victory! We don't give up on finding a "cure" for cancer or any other innumerable diseases, so why should we give up on finding a "cure" or at least a recovery for autism?

He had lesions down his throat, he complained incessantly, and didnt talk until he was 3. the treatments alloed him to progress at a normal pace....by the way. we had him tested and his metal count was off the charts. so yes it is not a disease, it is more of a poison. would you ever consider having your child never get treated for a broken leg? well why is this any different. god bless you.
She has been to the University Of Michigan, and Western Michigan University. She has seen several doctors. She has seen a DAN doctor. She doesn't just have a learning disability, she is severely autistic. I can't change her chromosomes to make them better. No diet (which she has been on) can cure her missing chromosomes. Do you get it. You make it harder for people with truly autistic kids go through hell when people say to me "Oh did you know there is a cure now"? Hello not for my daughter.
What works for some, does not work for all. There are SO many other things. Adult stem cell for example. I am saying don't give up on her. Miracles Do happen.
My daughters genetic testing and chromosomal testing just came back from the Mayo clinic and we found out that she has mutations on 3 chromosomes. Her Doctor said there is no diet that will cure her. As of now there is nothing we can do to cure her. We can only love her.
My daughter is severely autistic. We tried chelation and diet with a DAN doctor. She started having seizures during that time. He took her off the meds. Been in special ed with OT, speech therapist, sensory, water therapy for 3 years. She has only gotten worse. Not potty trained. Will eat her own feces. You are lucky. Not all can be cured.
Ohh. So sorry to hear about your daughter. How are you both doing?. Have you tried ABA?. Its taken my friend a year of ABA, but at least her son is finally potty trained at age 8. The inconsistency in special schools doesn't help at all.

Parents are getting HUGE results from Special diet. The Body Ecology diet is showing alot of results.Winning the War on Autisim is really a WAR and as a parent you must be willing to fight for your child because it is he or she that will be the casualty if you don't win. Recovery was considered wishful thinking by media outlets all over the USA including most doctors. Parents developed thier own "Think Tanks" on how to fight this war agianst autisim and many more are now winning this war.

Been in special ed with OT, speech therapist, sensory, water therapy for 3 years. She has only gotten worse. Not potty trained. Will eat her own feces. You are lucky. Not all can be cured.

Ohh. So sorry to hear about your daughter. How are you both doing?. Have you tried ABA?. Its taken my friend a year of ABA, but at least her son is finally potty trained at age 8. The inconsistency in special schools doesn't help at all.

I can't wait to see it! Our son is taking tremendous steps forward! I think that professionals who tell us autism is a life-long condition, and there is no cure, are doing families a great injustice. Thank God I did not listen! Autism IS treatable!

Parents are getting HUGE results from Special diet. The Body Ecology diet is showing alot of results.Winning the War on Autisim is really a WAR and as a parent you must be willing to fight for your child because it is he or she that will be the casualty if you don't win. Recovery was considered wishful thinking by media outlets all over the USA including most doctors. Parents developed thier own "Think Tanks" on how to fight this war agianst autisim and many more are now winning this war.
