Although this song is about a son and his father, it is a song that my beloved brave son, sailor, friend and love of my life have shared. His father wasn't around but it didn't stop him from becoming a young man I am proud of. I love my munchkin and forever will admire that he is strong just like his mama - strong to stand by what he believes in, come what may. He will be leaving to afghanistan in the next couple of months. I pray that God keep him close to him always.
