@Darragh62 You're correcting a 6/7th Dan in JKA Shotokan, you realize?
Would you go up to a 10th Dan in Koryu Iaido and tell him he's doing it wrong if you were taught one manner?
While there's nothing wrong with voicing what you're used to, saying that this man is doing it wrong is a bit passe considering he is a high-ranking Karateka in a prestigious (albeit controversial) organization.
@Suigetsukanno we do kata "JKA" standard 2. a kata is a kata & should be done the way it should. a kiba dachi stance is a very strong and stable 1. not a wobbly weak 1 w/ ur knees falling inward. not my opinion, its there 4 every1 to see. i practice this kata everyday.it should b better than this from a man who is supposed to have this high a bckgrnd. it seems actual karate comes last these days. ur more concerned wit rank and Org. if u think technique is good here id like to know what exactly?
