Hmmm... There are synths now that are pretty fantastic. Obviously not great live performance wise, but the Garritan Authorized Steinway is pretty badass. Do you think the sound of this specially rigged piano is as good as some of the synths that are out now? But hats off for the special rig; that IS super cool.

i've heard about this player piano like it was something amazing. cool stuff, but it's just MIDI being fed into a modern player piano, pretty common. aphex twin used a treated one on drukqs.
