@silverbullet211 We do our own coating. It is simple Home Depot Paint. But use a specific pattern incorporating micro, macro and other considerations involved to distort depth perception. It is very in expensive to do, but the correct layers of colors to cover and break up lines, angles, depths and others. Nor does if effect the factory finish.
@silverbullet211 So many people camo a rifle or spend big money doing so. Your rifle may be working in different environments, elevations that have different backgrounds. Look for the video in the new ATAC TV HD site coming out soon. There will be a detailed program, explanation and also how to do it yourself. It is not the best looking, but we do not care, as long as the camo is doing it's job.
@jessebickeldotcom if you have an empty magazine then you have to use the charging handle but if you reload with a few rounds in the mag there is already a bullet cycled into the chamber waiting to be fired.
Use your support hand finger. Some refer to this as a low light check. Yep, he is a great instructor. Never worked with him in person but I heard great things about his training. I saw on a forum he was one of the original Sayoc jungle guys.
Use your finger to feel the round. If you cannot feel a round and the bolt is open, then you are more than likely out of ammo. It is a very good question, I had the same recently. But someone taught me how to do it correctly.
Can anyone tell me something about the AR=15 magazines. This dude got a different mag than you got mostly in the m16/m4 types but does that depend on the gun or can u just put the magazine from this vid in any kind of ar-15 and backwards.
Reply to ThaWolf24: Those are made by MagPul, called PMags. Much better then other types of AR magazines and much more durable. And yes they will work in all the AR/M4 rifles. Great magazines, highly recommend them.
Well there are some silly people that like to hunt with them, and some people just wish they'd get a chance to use them as a self defense weapon in there house or something.
The M4A1 is a compact version of the M16A2 rifle. The AR-15 is similar, though the fully automatic version is only available to law enforcement and military justice, the semi-automatic version is available to civilians.
the m4 is a carbine (not a full size rifle) as airsoft said, the m4 have full auto and semi automatic, and the ar 15 only have semi automatic, the m16 (military version of the ar 15) and the m4 (carbine version of the m16/ar 15) were based on the ar 15, thats why they look the same (i think)
Yea. All AR-15 designs were developed by Eugene stoner in the late sixties, and the army didn't need the pinpoint accuracy of the M-14, they just needed a more basic and simple rifle. So they issued the M-16, and most gun buffs know the tragic history of the first issues of this rifle in Vietnam. Horrible Carbon Fouling and Jamtacular internal mechanics, but over the years the AR-15 has evolved to one of the world's most simple, favorable, and customisable weapons on the planet.
they are essentially the same model, but with slight differences. the M4 is an M16 with a shortened barrel, for closer quarters. An AR-15 is essentially the original name of the M16, renamed in the military.
AR-15 is the civilian version and the M-4 is the military version. Otherwise, pretty much the same gun. Just different name. I'll skip the technical details for simplicity.
i dont know what he is saying, but im assuming he is saying on a stoppage you tilt the m16 to the left cheque the ejection port to see the status of the bolt. If the bolt is fully to the rear your out of ammo so you take a new mag load it and hit the bolt catch and your ready to rock
I was trained on L85, so i'm not fully sure about M4, but you check the chamber on L85 to check what the stoppage is. It could equally be a jam with the round or a non-ejected cartrige causing the stoppage, as opposed it merely being a cause for reload.
I do not think they are going to, they have a membership for programs. My husband and I signed up a few days ago and some of the videos are there but I think these are just teasers. But the blog has an abundence of information.
what kind of coating or paint is that on that rifle

nilloc93 11 months ago
@nilloc93 first of all, it's not a clip... it's a magazine. second of all, you can see it drop free and then he puts another in.
sergeantfriday 9 months ago
You should consider flicking the mags out of the gun enstead. That keeps you from having to step or slip on your mags.
MrHecito 1 year ago
Aren't you supposed to use the charging handle every time instead of smacking the bolt lock?

Cool Vid! This operator knows what he is doing! I notice that he tilts weapon on it's side to inspect chamber.
Uuhm Stupid question - How do you inspect the chamber/ bolt position when it is dark?

@sbd45acp ther is always some type of reflection on the casing because it is gold so you will see it

Use your mouth as a low light hands free flashlight. If you don't have nods, keep a 1.5 inch chem light tucked in between your lip and gums.
Some may disagree but it worked for me.

can someone tell me which reloads faster: Ak or AR/M4?
gmanflyairforce3 2 years ago
AR reloads faster, based on the amount of movement involved. It mostly depends on the user.
cptsniper 2 years ago
ar15
TonynhogauchoPace 2 years ago
It depends on how you train, the AK is tricky to be consistent with but once you have muscle memory down it is pretty easy.
zextreme47 2 years ago
I can reload an M4 in 5 seconds. An AK? With practice, just as fast. Even faster since I train with it more.
Look up "AK Speed Reload" or "AK flick reload" for the fastest way to reload an AK.
UBCSWraith 2 years ago
@UBCSWraith yea but are you putting your mags in the dump pouch because other wise you are just losing mags if you need to change you position

true :D al would be super fast if it had a bolt catch

probably AR

what's the difference between m4 and ar15? for me these two famous rifles looks exactly the same.
keport 2 years ago
M4 is the military version. it goes full auto and semi automatic. The AR-15 is the civilian version and only goes semi automatic.
Airsoftsniping101 2 years ago
civilian O.o, what are they using them for?

FUN OF COURSE!
Well there are some silly people that like to hunt with them, and some people just wish they'd get a chance to use them as a self defense weapon in there house or something.

Actually the m4 has the firing modes: Safe, Semi, and Burst. The M4A1 has Safe, Semi, and Full.
Patrioticsoldr 2 years ago
They both use the same exact design, however the M4 is a select-fire AR15 designated for military use.
