This is a very good idea! The very first question in an eCar seems to be "Is it on?". Audio feedback is needed! Maybe something haptic or visual for deaf drivers? They will miss the ICE feedback of vibration and rpm gauge.
People have different preferences on the "ringtones" so better have several options available. At least I´d prefer something more masculine. ;-)
