  • why are the axels all the way in the back ? 2 much tounge weight !!

  • Axles being at the back are to support the load being dumped. If the axles are closer to the front and the load is dumped the back end of the truck would come off the ground, kind of like a teeter totter.

And yes too much tongue weight, I got a 12 footer to replace this one.

  • I hope your new one is a sissor lift they are so much stronger.I'll own nothing else now.

  • Thank you for hoping I got a scissor lift, but I got the same trailer at 12' for less tongue weight. I understand what you mean about the scissor as I used one a dump truck I built years ago.

  • Not to be mean or anything but compared to the walking floor trailer and 60 cubic yard trailers i have for my tractor trailer these things look like shit! then plus there so tipsy a freind of mines son died 2 months ago because the thing coght just a litlle wind and brought him,the brand new truck and trailer streght to the bottom of the pond

  • Hey mackman989 no offense taken. I am very sorry to hear about your friends son, that is horrible. I really didn't buy the trailer for looks, I know there are some that are better looking. Being tipsy yes, a little wind catching it, not sure on that. I've have tri-axle drivers not dump because of the ground level. So I made sure the load was centered & trailer level. Even the 40 footers for the big rigs can go over tractor and all. Can't remember if he lost or just broke his arm.

  • nice trailer but so slow

  • Hey 4x4mike15, Thanks for the "nice trailer" Yep a little slow but a lot faster than not being a dumper. I got a shorter one 12' but didn't change the speed much. Thanks for taking a look.

  • love the low profile of the trailer what weight can it tip

  • Never had it on the scale but it can be over loaded. I used it to transport clay / dirt for the pond and dumped 7- 8 yards no problem. I sold it and got a shorter model that is 4' shorter being 12'.
