I saw this tonight and I smiled when people actually were like "DANG, SHE KICKED THEIR ASS" when this scene was over...the audience was cheering her on!
I was shocked at the response IN the actual movie theater because of all the negative comments left on some of the youtube chun-li vids, but I guess people were genuinely entertained and liked the movie!...at least in my theater!
not a bad movie at all, not at all bad, Kristin Kreuk kicked some serious ass!
The stuntman for the male's name is Anis Cheurfa and he does an underground hobby called "tricking" which is a mix of martial arts tricks, kicks, flips, and twists.
Lolz. Real tricks amounts to nothing for on screen fight choreo. Rarely are there any good martial arts that dude awesome on screen choreo. If there are, they're mainly indy guys.
That was about a million times better than i thought it would be...wow KK makes a GOOD action hero...but that backflip kick was a bit lame, but what can u say? 80% good fighting is 80% better than u usally see now-a-days...XD

All i can do right now is support the movie simply because KK is in it, and hope that it does well..if not oh well it'll be quick that I can add it to my personal collection of DVDs, because im gonna buy it...I've got to! :)
The Fight scenes are rediculously gritty. I also like the fight scene that was shown when Michael Clark Duncan appeared on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
There's no martial arts choreography here, only tricking (flashy gymnastics) and surprisingly poor wire work. Good MA fight scenes can help flesh out characters by illustrating their approach to a conflict, their personality, style and learning progression, etc. Action aficionados will find nothing of value in scenes like this one. If this scene excites anyone, certain Jackie or Sammo or Tony Jaa scenes might make their head explode!
this seems very cool the reason why people complain is the bad promotion for this movie to be honest there is hardly any promotion for it but this scene looks kickass

Seems to me like the yelling voice anis has is the same voice that did the yells of the very first few seconds.
The sound effects are really cool though. I'll definitely watch this no matter what :)
