Cheap political stunt at the expense of the people over a crisis that is a week old all to distract attention from Sara Palin's interview with Couric because she sounded really really dumb and to try to claim that he was necessary to reach a bipartisan solution even though he isn't on the commitee that negotiates this. He actually showed up today and threw a monkeywrench in the talks by insisting on deregulation and a total corporate tax break for two years.

If this issue doesn't get resolved by Monday morning before the market opens, it will have been a whole week that Washington hasn't done anything to stabilize the economy, stocks will plummet, and economic turmoil will worsen. Obama doesn't care. He's all about his own campaign, not about the lives of the American people.
