Diplomatic immunity is for diplomats, so they can operate without the fear of hostile governments harassing them. So tell me why would you need to give these powers to an international police force. INTERPOL works within the laws of the Countries they service. They have the same privileges that are granted to the Red Cross. Do you think we should throw the Red Cross out of the country? Do you think someone working with the Red Cross can't be prosecuted?
And the Freedom of Information Act they actually do respond to requests. And they will continue to do so whenever possible just like any other law enforcement agency.

Maybe you should find out what INTERPOL does. And yes the Red Cross has the same immunity as Interpol they do not have total immunity as Mr Jones will have you believe. The only thing that President Obama's amendment did was allow the immunity that Reagan had already given INTERPOL to their offices. If they would have had permanent offices when Reagan had signed the Executive order they would have been included. But they did not establish their offices until 2004.
