Before a few days ago, I never bothered with Recon. I decided I wanted my Recon star, so I started sniping. The M40A5 and I just connect and do great things together. I don't do long range stuff like that, it's mostly 100M range stuff, sometimes out to 300, just about never past that. I usually run through the paths of least resistance, setting up in a building that overlooks a busy CP and covering my teammates.

Good video. Recon makes great area denial, but they do get a bad rep for sitting around doing shitall for a cheap few kills while ignoring the general objective.

That's why when I play recon I try my best to throw in a few motion sensors and pick up an engie/assault kit to help cap points.

I've found the L96 more to my liking over the M98B. The bullet drop just seems to suit me better. I know the M98B has less of a drop but I over compensate. I think one thing you do very well is repositioning yourself for the next kill, so many players forget snipers are the easiest targets to take out once they are spotted. Awesome video :)

most of these shots are more medium range imo, still nice job with the headshots man, i dont think the enemy team realized they were basically in a giant shooting gallery just waiting to get picked off, also just something i noticed while sniping is that a laser sight actually hurts you more than it helps since any enemy with half a brain will hit the deck once a laser hits their screen

Look at the people he kills, half of them aren't even snipers and so have no reason to be up there. I agree that there's nothing wrong with a sniper camping so long as they still try and play the objective and get in a position where they can watch over an M-com or flag.
