  • Ooh poo pah doo Puffin Billy. Very lucky to have seen him 3 times over a 30 year span. First time was during the Sunbury years in the early 70s at a lunchtime concert at Uni and the last in 2002. Both periods are covered in this memorial. What great memories. RIP William Richard Thorpe AM.

  • im a huge thorpie fan i wasnt able to watch servie when telecast as i didnt have foxtell at the time would antbody have a full copy of the service i would happily pay for a copy. would like to see a full on tribute concert for Billy for what he did for australia music its the very least he deserves, rock on billy (r.i.p) rock in peace
