Just put plastic over the top of the ball to keep it stable.. Then twist and it'll easily come off. Worked for me:)

You use needle nose pliers that's what I did that if you don't feel comfortable doing that just go back to your piercer and he will remove it for you :)

Surprisingly, it didn't hurt when I got mine. They were very professional and it's been 4 weeks and its doing great. They say to keep it in for 3-4 weeks. , but just to be safe, keep it in til 6-7 weeks.

@Dearja3love you should never remove the jewellry when a piercing is infected or else you could contatin the infection and make it worse.

@Dearja3love As horrible as it sounds you have to leave it, treat it and make sure it's healed before taking out an infected belly ring if you take it out whilst it's infected the hole will close up with the infection in it and will not drain so you will have a sore infection in ur belly button probly filled with puss until it is drained:( It sucks I know but rather treat it and get it healed!

For u who can't unscrew the top ball : hi guyz i had the same probl at first but then i thought it's maybe because of some crust or something...so what i did was that i took a long (half hour) warm (not too hot or u can faint or stuff) bath and then i dried it and my hands and tried again...it still went off hard but i did it! Ah and don't forget to turn it in a counterclockwise direction...so that't it..i'm not a pro but the soaking is what i did...u basicaly soften the crust formed in the scr

it will get infected if u take it out this early , i seriously dont wanna do that , its just 1 week in and its not healed at all , its recommended to leave the ring at least 6 month untill it heals. if u leave it in and clean it properly it will not get infected but if u take it out it will, i suggest u go and ask a processional for help , good luck

If you can't get the ball unscrewed just take a small piece of plastic wrap and put it on the ball and on the actual jewel to keep it stable and twist it counterclockwise. It will come right off :)

How do you know when it's healed and when can you change it? I've had mine done for 3 months and its a captive bead ring not the j bar. It doesnt hurt or anything, it still gets a little crusty but i clean it every day like my peircer told me to do, but i don't know when to change it. So can you help me?

the man that did mine did not tell me that i have to let the ring on till it healed.He only said to clean it completely 3 times a day and that i can take it off.. in 3 days... so.yea.i waited 4 days.to take it off and clean the ring with alcohol. sometimes i could see something coming from inside.''yellowish '' i don't know if major infection.but yesterday.my cousin saw me and told me it had to be on till a certain day.i was planning to follow as the video says from today.Or what should i do..

I got mine done nov 7th. But now its feb 4th and for a while there has been a bumb under the top ball. Its pink and the hole is smaller and tighter (I guess from the pressure). I just wanna know.... Is it ok or should i get it checked??

I didn't have any problem with changing the ball-bearings on my tongue bar, I just soaked them in warm salt water - just to be sure so I'd imagine it won't be much of a problem for a navel piercing

oh, that happend to me, what you want do to is just clean it more then you are now, and you might even want to cover it up with some gauze and tap. it is comone for that to happen so you should be fine :)

It takes FOREVER to undo the ball.

Throughout the entire healing process, i just played with the ball, and just one day, it just became loose and came off.

Just make sure your hands are dry, and use like your shirt to twist it, like if you were opening a jar, lol.

Try wearing rubber gloves -- thin latex medical gloves are best, but those big yellow dishwashing gloves will work as well. The material sticks to the metal so you can unscrew the jewelery, whereas your fingerskin just slips around and you can't get a good grasp.
