Im 38 now. I skated when I was a kid in the mid-80's, when the boards were still wide, and the 720 was the absolute pinnacle of skating mastery. People gave us the same kinda shit back then. When it comes to societal acceptance of skateboarding, you will find that some people realize that it is a positive thing, and some people will always be angered by the mere sight of skaters. That's just the way it is, and has always been.
