That looks like a modified ALX. You probably bought the stripped down version (stil expensive, though) and added a few parts to make it "better". But you should've just left it alone because this made it worse.

Let me just clarify. That machine was not built by Alienware. The bios splash isn't Alienware, the cable management is awful and the ALX ALWAYS came liquid cooled. So untwist your knickers.

@Sazura65 Not all ALX.... The liquid cooling was an extra, "Alien Ice" I believe it was called. I did buy it for mine, however the liquid cooling only extends to the CPU not the graphics cards, so the system is still a noisy beast.

That's not a genuine ALX. And if it is it's been played with. Firstly the ALX is *always* water cooled. It has been since the dawn of the ALX. They used to use thermacore but recently switched to Asetek LCLC. The fans are not Alienware, the PSU (unless a light has been modded in there) is not Alienware, etc, etc, etc. I think someone has built a Fakienware.

Well I'm not ignorant and i'm not rich but these machines were so amazing to me. and yes a lot of pc can run crysis but playing it at ULTRA high settings and still get 50 FPS is impossible under 1 K. Even by overclocking it and all. Just the GTX 280 cost about $600.
