  • In my opinion, from 1:04:26 onward it just goes downhill :(

  • outstanding performance, thanks a lot!

  • What's the note that Johnny hits at 17:11?

  • @pythonfan84 May be Mib1 or Mi1 (Eb1 or E1)?

  • @hospito helemaal mee eens. Beckand verknald het een beetje -.- maar de Kings Singers maken het weer helemaal goed :)

  • i don't like all that Tijl Beckand-nonsense, but i looooove the Kings Singers ♥♥♥

  • Creo que ellos son unos maestros de la voz y que su arte es maravilloso, los felicito son un gozo para el alma!!!

  • I would suggest using binders with the plastic pages (where you can put individual pages in the plastic covers) to prevent the wind from blowing the pages annoyingly around.

  • very good choice for the new bass! Hope it 'll last long time!

  • Guys, dont speak too soon about the new bass. Stephen was in KS for 23yrs, and he had changed a lot through out. There is certainly room and time for the new bass to adjust and fit in.

  • could anybody name the second song / composer??? many thx :-)

  • They are the King's Singers... However did anyone notice how they were not as perfect as they are suppose to be? Just a thought... I miss Stephen's sound:( The new guy is to bright to be a BASS.

  • What happened with Stephen Connolly??? The Kings Singers are not the same without Connolly... it is a sad situation

Never thought that someone could ruin a KS concert, but great heavens, the host managed it. The gentlemen of the KS sung very well under terrible circumstances, but the host sucked. Complete out of line.

  • Does anybody know the name and the composer of the first song? Thank you.

  • @muenchner1000 Alonso de Alba

  • @muenchner1000 la tricotea

  • @gerlinooo Thank you, I've found out in the meantime ;)

  • @fatisphat3 you've the nazi language, to refuse opinion about a group is stupid

  • for those of us who don't understand Dutch; to skip the MC, go to:

    0:20:16

    0:34:02

    0:49:10

    1:00:00

Though the last one is quite short ;)

  • @Tousibakun

A varied concert with a touch of British humor on late night on the Hofvijver.

Their extensive repertoire that spans several centuries, the King's Singers have selected appropriate music. The men suffer one moment shipwrecked on the Hofvijver, then they are drunken sailors who love singing. But Johannes Brahms passes, and Blackbird by the Beatles and the final close harmony you hear the perfect harmony and impeccable timing of The King's Singers.

  • great performance by johnny!!

  • Podrías poner el nombre de las obras y sus autores por favor?

  • Podrías poner el no9mbre de las obras y sus autores por favor?

  • soy*

  • @fatisphat3 pero no estoy espanol!

  • I have no idea what everyone's problem with this comes from. Excellent performance. And I've had the opportunity of hearing Johnny in person at an indoor concert, and he is just fine. Great job KS!

  • gracias Exelente video

  • A tour de force performance considering the obstacles of late night, bad weather, and rather strange venue. However, the bass sound was too weak and wimpy to be effective and did not provide the unique bass anchor of sound we have come to expect from KS: makes me miss Stephen Connelly terribly, Maybe its just an issue of Johnny finding his comfort zone, but he needs more volume and gravitas to be an effective anchor to the group ,IMHO. David, as usual, was beyond phenomenal.

  • @KSfan4ever In fairness to Johnny, we've been listening to Stephen for 23 years, so any change in the bass sound will be a shock. Also, he just has a different voice - Stephen is big and theatrical to say the least! Allow some change!

  • @Spudbass I completely agree with that sentiment and must add that i find the new bass to be a great fit for the group. I also am a huge fan of Stephen because of his tonality and strength as a singer. As a bass myself I enjoy listening to stephan on a sort of fanboy level. For the group however I find that the new bass blends easier with the others. In older videos, the Soprano and stephans voices stuck out and that seems to be against what the kings singers strive for.

  • @angryred101 nicking pits...they've always had great blend. Stephen was excellent as is the new Bass, but I think you're right that the blend, at least in this concert, is really nice right now.

  • Wonderful concert!! Beautiful Spanish songs, even more beautiful Brahms, very sensitive, great close harmony pieces and Rhythm of Life as a closing flourish - all in the middle of night with rain and fog blowing + the audience not close. They connected with the people and had fun anyway. Amazing dat was! KS are truly without equal.

  • I don't like ! tricotea and bomba are not well interpretated (the attack of bomba awful!), the bass is unfortunatly not enough strong! and please word the spanish pronunciation (very special the english olé!) few extracts wrong! Sad thing for a group reputated to be the best!
