  • Absolutely beautiful !!! it's truly a classic sound

  • Absolutely Beautiful !!! It truly a classic son.

  • awsome! just cant for these guys to come new zealand next year in jan

  • This is great! Have to keep watching it over and over! I think technology has changed somewhat to where you are not having to press a pedal, like John Oates here, for the reverb, etc. I'm not on the cutting edge of this technology so I'm not sure what is used today.

  • One of the best choruses in music history!

  • sexy

  • Great song Great performance!

  • This song gives me goosebumps!

  • it doesnt get any smoother than this a great performance and a haunting tune i always thought, a talented duo that started out singing street corner sympany thanks

  • This song hit the charts 37 years ago today! Hard to believe . . .

  • @SistahKepi fuck yourself

  • Still the best duo in the world, by far

  • Thanks guys. You know at the end of the day when love walks away, this is the song, man I wish I wrote it. Feels like I did. Thank you my brothers.

  • Ladies and Gentlemen........the blackest white-guy ever ;)

  • The baddest duo of all time......you got 2 love Hall & Oates!!!

  • The synthesizer solo is replaced by a saxophone here. I think that's wrong for a song recorded back in 1973.

  • @ClassicTVMan1981X What synthesizer solo? I think you need to listen to the original again.

  • @djdrock111

Sorry, I was probably referring to their performance on Old Grey Whistle Test from 1976. The original 1973 version did have a sax solo.

  • Charlie Dechant on sax and keys.

  • Just so awesome!!!!!

  • Son of a bitch that was BAD

  • She's Gone- about as perfect as it gets. WHOO!

  • These dudes sound better in 97 than in 74..wow remarkable..

  • @dontneedjack sorry I love hall and oats but to say this sounds better than 74,,,lol,,you need to have your hearing checked!!! vocal range is not even close...

  • @dontneedjack - SO TRUE! Saw them in Los Angeles with Chicago in concert in 1997, and they were AMAZING!!

  • Wow - I wonder what Takamine model Daryl's using....I'm getting the EF508KC.

    - Jeff Emmerson (Google Me)

  • great music!

  • Geeze.. one of the most amazing vocalists I've ever seen- in any video I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing this.

  • Dedicated to my sister, who passed away a year ago today-I miss you sooo Sissy!!

  • She is gone and I wish she was not

  • I heard mp3iifffy is the best site to download songs like this. Google mp3iifffy.

  • Bobby and the T didn't take any shit

  • Yeah. Bobby Mayo and T-Bone are gone now. :(

  • That's T Bone Wolk, isn't it? RIP.

  • @ChrisPawelski Yes it's the T Bone.

    I'm the Collard Green!

  • @ChrisPawelski Chris do you live in ft collins?

  • @Mariadeluna68 No, NYS.

  • brilliant, great voices.

  • First time I hear this song - what a great, great song.

  • Hall & Oates are an american pop treasure...and Daryl Hall is absolutely incredible...a gold standard for male vocalists..

  • I quit listening to pop music after about the 1980's cause they just don't have music like this anymore...... Too bad.....

  • Dangit, I love these guys music! Such a great ole song. GREAT version.

  • This is how music should sound....soulful and by real musicians.

  • In all my days I've never seen that kind of sax before. Wow. Even Yanni has his venezuelan sax player who plays the hell out of a "bamboo sax', as well as soprano. Never seen this little sax. I dig it though.

  • It's called a Saxello. It's essentially a straight sax (Soprillo) with a slightly curved bell. It's Bb tenor I believe.

  • and i believe that's jerry cantrell playing it.

  • No that's Charlie "Mr. Casual" DeChant. He's been with H&O since the mid-70s.
