  • Our Chessie's sing too but so does our Bassett Hound who thinks he is a Chessie.

  • Our sweet Chessie Steamer would howl like this when we sang the birthday song. I should've gotten that on video. Makes me miss her bad!

  • He's so cute. I love Chessies!

  • what a duet

  • i have a chessy but she still is a puppy and dose'nt sing

  • lol so freakin cuteeeee!!!!!

  • Howling like this is pack behavior and he's joining in with what he considers to be another member of the pack howling.

If it hurt his ears he'd be acting either more aggressive (barring teeth and low growling) or fearful (hiding, tail tuck, eye contact aversion).

    Very lovely. :)

  • ya know that hurts his ear thats why he howls

  • I wish my chesapeake would sing to my music, instead he just barks at me all the time.

  • @RockoJulian same dude! xD

  • are you sure he's not singing because the noise bothers him? it seems very high-pitched to me and it looks as though he's suffering. better watch out for that.

  • This is the cutest thing ever! I have a brown Chesapeake Bay Retriever at home and this dog reminds me so much of him! This is so cute!

  • This is hilarious! Does he sing to all music or just really bad mariachi music? Send it into the America's Funniest Animal Videos!

  • The chewing bark is my favorite, what a sweetie!
