And in case any of you are wondering what "paella" is, it's a traditional Spanish delicacy made of seafood, yellow rice, saffron, vegetables, & scarps of chicken.
As for the Colosseum itself, it wasn't always like the way it is today. When it 1st opened up in 80AD, it was state-of-the-art w/ marble sculptures, a "velarium" (a cotton roof) for when it got hot, bronze ornaments, etc. The reason why it appears the way it is today, is b/c massive earthquake shook many of its walls loose, & medieval Roman thieves stripped the landmark of its treasures.
You can tell it's very early because there is actually a top row not filled up in the audience where only a year later every row is filled and there are kids even sitting on the floor.
Ditto. Boy, if this show were ever revived, I'm sure WNET would air it the way it used to air the original show: Monday-Friday at 5:00pm, and half an hour later on WLIW (for repeats).

As for Seville, Spain, it's the setting of another world-famous opera: "Carmen", by Georges Bizet.
