  • theres a couple reasons they can either longer hand with new upcoming younger talent...they get tired of racing bikes but still want to keep racing...or there bodies just cant take the abuse ridin gives and moves on to the flying coaches (aka million dollor tts and buggys)

  • how come motorcycle riders retire and then race cars or trophy trucks

  • steve hengevield retired from the motorcycle industry and has now moved into the trophy trucks, just wanted to throw that out there

  • Ya, That is why he just took 2nd for Kawasaki in the Baja 1000, because he retired from motorcycles.

  • maybe he goes on and off but i know he mainly races trophy trucks now, and im nearly positive he wouldnt go to kawasaki o.O hes a huge honda guy #1 racer for night time

  • Obviously you did not follow the last Baja 1000. Team Kawasaki was the first over the finish line, with Steve Hengeveld riding and then Honda. Too bad the overall time for Kawasaki was like 1min and 20sec behind Honda's overall time. Robby Bell, another Honda dude, was rocketing the Kawasaki. Destry Abbott was on Team Green too. Sounds like you need to watch less Dust to Glory and watch something that is not 6 years old.
