jcbynumm077: Yes, this song was originally called "Beck", but it was not named after Peter's wife at the time (if it was, the song would've been called "Lydia"). He collaborated on the song with a former band member from a band he was in before he joined Kiss (I cannot recall the band's name, nor the other person. "Beck" (Becky, or Rebecca) was the wife of the other band member.... Kiss' number 1 seller, their Bread & Butter. If it wasn't for Beth, you wouldn't be seeing all these videos today.

To those that don't know...the original name of this song was Beck, as in Becky, the name of Peter's wife at the time he wrote the song. It's inspiration was from their relationship status that ended in divorce. Gene had it changed to Beth for marketability.
