the arrogance of the "two kids from brooklyn" pissed me off...when said "no one knew what kung fu was...we invented it, in a sense" I was shocked...if they want us to believe that kung fu was something unheard of in the western world, then how is it that "two kids from brooklyn" knew enough about martial arts and asian culture to write a 90 minute movie? I'm just gonna go ahead and call bullshit...
This guy Howard Friedlander at 1.09, I am not sure I believe this version. These guys in my point of view are good at copying ideas not creating new concepts. I believe that Bruce Lee came up with the concept.
Thank you so much for posting. I liked to see the series. I came upon Kung Fu when the Dutch television (VPRO) gave a very good interview with Rory Stewart who told he loved to see the series as a kid. Part of the interview is still to be seen on the site of VPRO, under the name: Wintergasten.

Load of garbage. The whole concept belonged to Bruce Lee.

I loved the show, but it was just outright racism that kept Bruce Lee from starring in this series, Dave was an alcholic fraud
