  • thx for info

  • Thanks for the helpful info. I wanted safety and believe it or not I wanted the greenish tan and black one so that works out perfectly for me!

  • i think the sigma is very under rated it very well made shoots great after i put 2500 rounds true mine i did have to retired it so i got the FNP-9

  • I did a little research into the FNP version with the safety as well as decocker - it's called the FNP (obviously) "USG" model (United States Government) :)

  • @SPeacock Thanks, then the "USG" is the one I don't want.

  • yeah, exactly! that trigger is a mutha, but hopefully my theory is right and the training with the sigma trigger will make a world of difference when i switch to a single action. love the gun but like most first loves it will have to be retired eventually.

  • i use to own a sigma i am think of geting one aging i just hate the 14 pound pull on that thing

i want to use it as my house gun in a .40 caliber

  • noticed you mentioned the beaver tail in part one. i just picked up the s&w sigma (bout a month ago) and think that the tail on that one is excellent. but if your in love with that s/a option dont worry about it. im new to guns, and i got a dao because im thinkin if i start with dao first then sa will be easier to get a hang of. but because of your video i think the fn will be my next chioce because i do want a sa firearm. good video and thanks for the info.

  • The exact twin is the Browning Pro-9, which is a model with the safety. Very hard to find though, and you don't get 3 mags with it. Beffer off with the FNP9. I used to really want only guns with safety's, but after having one, I rarely find myself using it. The FNP9 is perfectly fine as long as the gun rules of safety are followed. Great gun. Nice review.

  • yes very true but my FNP9 rules whit safety any way

  • I just ordered a NIB FNP-9, bi-tone also, from gunbroker for $485 with an addition mag also tossed in by the dealer, I haven't picked it up yet but is there any lubing or anything I need to do to it once I do get it? It's my first gun so I am new to the whole gun care process =)

  • CLP is one of the best lubricant you can use out their before you take it out to the range buy a universal cleaning kit and a snake bore for 9mm

and all so go true youtube ther a lot of videos on how to clean your gun if you can not find any thing PM back and will make you a video on how to clean your FNP properly

and congrats on your first gun

  • Ok cool, thank you very much, and great review also by the way! I watched a couple vids about cleaning and lubing, none specific for the p9 but I think I get the jist of what to do and the basics on it, thanks again for your help =)

  • cool well good lucky and have fun be safe

  • I picked mine up yesterday. Feels just right in my hand. My only minor complaint is that the DA trigger pull is looooooooooong.

  • true it is very long i did look online to see if any body do trigger work on FNP but i found nobody

  • Thanks for the cool videos. I bought the all black model on gunbroker, but haven't picked it up yet. I look forward to taking it out to the range asap after pickup. My $.02 on the lack of safety is that the double action first shot negates the need for one. If someone really likes the cocked and locked carry mode, SA only is the best choice.

  • hope you get it soon they fun to shoot

  • to ad to my comment on part one i havent shot or handled the " GI " model. only the all black or the bi-tone. maybe its a newer feature. hmm noooo clue great videos

  • thanks for the comment i am debating if i want to get the .45 or another 9mm but i want one in black if i get it in 9mm

  • I got mine but in .45 ACP for $545 plus tax.

  • u got a good deal most places seal it for over $600

  • Just paid $530 for mine. (pick it up thursday woo) As early as a month ago I saw reports of low $400 range. Nothing under 500 now though.

  • at list you got a good deal some pepol have told me that they paid close to $600 or more for the FNP

  • california its like $745

  • way to expensive

  • yeah, california fees

  • dame good thing i live in florida

  • its only 499.00 at bass pro shops. i just looked at it yestrday

  • it was 609.99 where i saw

  • i just purchased my fnp9 last week. selling in washington state for 600. i picked it up a few days ago, and they are in the 650-700 range now.

  • wow that is a big price hick you mite want to look in to that i still see them in pro bass for $500

  • Thanks for uploading this video. Today I just purchased FNP9 black on black. You are right. Accuracy and ease of use. I love this gun.

  • I actually just applied for my firearm license here in New Jersey, as soon as I turned 21 I went straight to the police station. Still waiting for my license to come in but this is deff. going to be my first gun. Thanks for the video review.

  • well good luck getting that permit

and you will love the FNP-9 its a great weapon

  • do you know any Lasers that could work with the accessory rail?

    thanks for the detailed review

  • well i think all most any laser....

my suggestion u can take your FNP-9 to a gun shop that has lasers and see what fits !!!

  • Do you know how long the rail is? is it 1 1/2" or more?

  • its like 1 3/4 inches

  • This will be my next gun...for a pancake holster, blade-tech now makes one that I'll probably get as well.

  • i have see dose they use to give it out for free last year if you got a FNP-9 or FNP-40

  • sweet gun. nice review

  • thank you it is a nice gun

  • thank you

  • Its called the USG.
