This doesn't sound like the B-Side version of Sweet Hitch Hiker. I played the hell out of that 45 (wish I could find it right now) & this isn't what I remember. Although this is in mono & so was the single version & I know that the album wasn't available in mono. Maybe this is the album version folded into mono? Different mixes between the single & album? This is driving me nuts. Am I insane? What's going on here? Where am I? How did I get here? And why does it smell like corned beef?
I've read that this album is "terrible" by some reviewers...I think it's awesome! I've listened to this album more than any other CCR album...especially when I used to be a drunk haha. This was one of my favorite songs and I love the vocals. Nice and dirty!
awesome song - if this record had been filled out with a couple of the Blue Ridge Rangers covers - Jambablya / Working On A Building we'd have another classic CCR LP. John should have at least given writer credit on their instrumental tunes. What a prick. Four cover songs on Cosmos Factory and not 1 song by Tom? What a piece of shit. John = CCRs best and worst ASSet.
Some Creedence singles and it's B-sides: Susie Q / Susie Q (part 2) I Put a Spell on You / Walk on the Water Proud Mary / Born on the Bayou Bad Moon Rising / Lodi Green River / Commotion Down on the Corner / Fortunate Son Travelin' Band / Who'll Stop the Rain Lookin' Out My Back Door / Long As I Can See the Light Run Through the Jungle / Up Around the Bend Have You Ever Seen the Rain? / Hey Tonight Sweet Hitch-Hiker / Door to Door Someday Never Comes / Tearin' Up the Country
magnifica cancion del creedence, viene en su ultimo album como grupo, el mardi grass, ya era un trio, tom los abandono, cumpliendo una exigencia de la disquera liberty, esta cancion la canto stu cook, que era el bajista
this song would have been a success if it hadnt had the label "Creedence Clearwater Revival". When thi stype of song appeared on their repetoire, their fans were like "wtf, this aint CCR" Had stu gone solo and released he would have been a success.
Weird... Stu Cook plays bass in this song, John Fogerty probably plays lead guitar (even he refused too, he would only play rythm guitar on Stu's and Doug's songs... Cool bass line though, where do I get TABs for those?
@TeamMastaPr2 Hi men I have a new information of CCR , you know only CCR Fans , as you there is a book Bad Moon Rising that talk all the history of CCR whit details I have a Youtube friend that have this book and he said ma that Stu Cook play the lead guitars in Cosmos and Cook songs OMG thats a really new

This is sung by the Bassist Stu Cook and a great job he did.
And yes this IS by Creedence Clearwater Revival with John Forgerty.
Tom Fogerty had had enough by this point.

@gripedwards
Ya, I heard. What was the deal Tom Fogerty, anyway? With genuine curiosity, what had he "had enough" of?
Either than that, Stu really was (still is?) a truly great musician. Great Song.

Clearly this no-CCR song announced the end. But CCR wouldn't be CCR if today FOGERTY WAS NOT IN REVIVAL!
