My reaction to this is very mixed (the original has long been a favorite of mine since it was fresh out of the studio). The violins hitting Freddy's high notes are wonderful. The first orchestral attack on the chorus is odd though, changes the mood of the piece from what's gone before. And the choir is just strange, a bit too staccato -- and, if you're going to add vocals, why not also do the Japanese? Doesn't make sense that it's been eliminated. Just my opinion, naturally.
