  • Well just so you know, balance is important, we always weld back any chunks of missing metal on the cutting side, then sharpen it.

    I'm not sure if its right or not, but what I do with my bush hog blades is balance them either by using a scale or even a simple balance scale that I create with the two blades.

  • I like the video of sharpening the blade. The problem for me is finding a breaker bar, and socket to remove the blade. I tried sharpening the blade on the bush hog, but didn't get very much of the blade sharpened due to the sparks coming from that hand held grinder onto me. Thanks so much for showing us how to do this.

  • @brian93ist That is what I will have to do probably once I get the money and time. The bush hog does come in handy around where I live.
