I came into Nerdfighteria only recently and,after watching most of these videos,I accepted that I wouldn't be getting a signed copy of The Fault in Our Stars..

THEN! I went into Walmart looking for new earphones.I figured I'd glance over the books they had neatly arranged to the side of the"Entertainment"area when the blue cover assaulted my eyes with a yellow sticker that said,"Signed Copy."

The "ruins" are actually sculptures called "the Races of Man", that used to adorn New Yorks first skyscraper (the st.Paul building). When the building was being torn down to make way for a more modern building in the 1950's a contest was held. Cities that where interested in having the sculptures had to present their plans for the sculptures. Indianapolis won. The statues where at that time estimated to be worth around $150.000. It's a real piece of american history.
