  • This is awesome! We've ben starting to do weekly competitions at our store to improve our speed and load times.... I can do a large pepperoni pizza in 42 seconds... We have an added twist to it though, the pizza must be ready to load in the oven as if it were an actaul order, if not, we have to start over. We also have to have portioning correct (ex: 40 pepperonis, not too little cheese etc.) but we just do one pizza... NOT THREE!!

  • We dont have the cheese spread thing where were at. My fastest time was 1:57 for 3 large pepperonis. They didn't look as awesome as those though haha. I like to be quick when making pizza but I make sure when I ship it, it's something I would eat. I'd feel bad about giving someone a terrible looking pizza.

  • quality is as important to dominos as customer service, that is why we practice making pizzas fast, so we can keep quality in mind while being able to do it very quickly.

  • For everyone that wants to know what the yellow stuff is , it's cornmeal. It's purpose it to stop the dough from sticking to your hands and the table so you can slap it properly. I work at dominos, that's how I know. Thumbs up so people can see.

    PS. that cheeser is just for proper portioning. I've never used it nor seen it before this video. Ive heard of if before, it just helps to use the right amount of cheese for inventory purposes.

  • That is NOT how they actually make pizza at domninos. I work at dominos and I make the dough, we make the dough the day before they use it and store it in a cool room, and we use machines to get the shape of the dough. And then the people working on the make line, make the pizzas and put them in the oven.

  • That cheese spreader is pretty cool. That's the hardest part of making a pizza at home, is spreading the cheese evenly.

  • I used to work at domino's driving and actually it's quite good money. with tips + car mileage it worked out to be about £10 per hour! not bad for a pizza boy!!

  • read what you said. Open, sauce, top. I'm willing to bet that is using a preformed crust. If that's the case then it's almost believable but i still doubt it. No one on the face of the planet moves fast enough to slap,sauce,and top a large pizza. in 10 seconds let alone an 18 inch.

  • Our Average Load time for a pizza, just a single pizza must be under 3:00 mins, 6:30, in the oven, and 10-20 mins to get to your door =), All you haters can obviously keep talking, because your feeling very safe behind your computer =).

    this guy is Obviously very good, Mine is only 1:50 for a single pizza.

  • my fastest time for a SELLABLE pizza is like 47 seconds. Our area auditors are very strict so when they check pizzas they have to be perfect.

  • ummmm. Hate to break it to you but but he barely had the pizzas slapped out by 1:10. I can slap 5 large pizzas out in 45 seconds and i'm not even that fast. He didn't even have them all topped by the end of the video. The reason it takes a dominos pizza maker so long is because they have standards to follow. You can't just toss the dough up in the air or stretch it with your knuckles. If i was allowed to make pizza like this guy I would have been done way before him.

  • exactly. Most people wouldn't think you can make money at dominos but they are dead wrong. I work between 40-50 hours a week as a driver and when you combine my wages, tips and mileage. I make around 700 a week. So that's 2800 a month before taxes. That works out to about $14 an hour. I'd love for anyone to tell me they can make more money doing an easier job then working at dominos. It's difficult sometimes but it's not rocket science.

  • Wow, the pepperoni comes apart fairly quickly. Wish WE had that cheese measure thing. Would make it much easier than using a cup and judgment.

    That guy is fairly fast but can he keep up that pace hours on end? I doubt it. Thus multiple people is needed.

    There is also more space to work with as well thus going fast where I work would result in stuff on floor. lol

  • i work at domino's and have for about a month and i can not make the hand tossed crust AT ALL! it is so hard! same with the saucing, it is hard! i finally can cheese good but even then, i wish we had an automatic cheeser at the one i work at. i work at a domino's in montréal too :)
