@lildude4231 I basically convert my gameplay into source demo's (just Google that, it's pretty simple), and then I play those demo's, and record them using Fraps. There's a free trial version for this somewhere, so you can test to see if it works for you.

It might be best though to just wait for Valve's inbuilt video recorder to make it to the live game - as I hopefully shall be doing for new videos.

@DispleasedEskimo Not sure if you have already heard this (or are talking about something different), but you can record demos in-game with the 'startmovie [moviename] h264' command in console. It ensures 30 fps, so it's great for people with slower computers, but Fraps is definitely the much faster (and more convenient) way to go if your computer can handle it.
