Which is the best actor to character match? Well I know which I think is the worst. But the best actor is Billy Burke as Charlie. Another good match is Ashley Greene as Alice. I always picture her when I read the book. I also picture most of the actors when I read the book except for Kristen Stewart.

i was an anti-Twilightist before i read the books cos i thought it was a fad. but my sister who also hated twilight picked it up in a bookstore in the white book covers n didnt realise they were twilight books - read the first few chapters and got them for me. i read the 1st 1 n jus got hooked. i watched all the movies and i think jacob and bella look most like i pictured them - edward not so much but still really close :)

Thank you, liljp123. I mean, Taylor just doesn't suit the part for Jacob. You are right. You are also right about their being some nice, fan made trailers with Steven Strait in them. Steven is a great actor, and would protray Jacob well. Taylor, needs to man up..thats all i have to say.
i think edward and robert pattinson were the best match. i think also bella, emmet, jasper, rosalie, and esme were also great matches and everyone else. the scence that was cut from the book was the meadow part. they showed it kind of but no the way that i was expecting. n e ways i love twilight and edward cullen!!!!!!!!!

there was another scene cut out: instead of Bella going to the airport with Jasper and Alice in Pheonix in the book, she went straight to the Ballet Studio to meet James from the Hotel, not at the girls bathroom at the airport.
hmm,robert plays edward well. he looks realistic enough for the job. it's just jacob isn't really persay,manly enough? if thats the right choice. having read all the books, over twice..i guess i would have thought of a more.."dirty..grubby" looking guy to play jacob. instead of..the this perfect hair/smile kid,taylor. you know?
Finally someone who thinks this. I really dont want Taylor to be Jacob in the next movie because when I see him, I think he is twelve. So why would Bella ever develop feelings for him? The only reason why their pretty much keeping him is because the fans love him and want him to be in the movie. In my opinion, I would think Steven Strait would be the best Jacob. Watch some good fanmade new moon trailers and you'll see what I mean, If people dont like taylor in this movie, its their fault.

Well - First off, Taylor Lautner looked a lot like what I pictured Jacob to look like (human form anyway...)But - overall - I think Emmett was the best character match!

i think the best character matches are Edward and Alice, they were fantastic! i think Kristen LOOKS like how i pictured Bella, but the way she portrays bella's personality and lines is different. i didnt think Bella was so... quiet and calm. like she took very serious/'desperate' lines and made them calmer. i dont know, i still like her though! just my opinion. i went to the midnight showing of twilight, one word: FANTASTIC!

i love the fact that they got the perfect characters for jacob, emmett, alice, jasper, and esme. But the characters for bella, edward, rosalie,and carlisle just didnt stand out to me the way i feel they should have
Kristen Stewart was perfect for looks, and she was almost perfect in her acting i think she should have just been a little more feminine because Bella i imagined as a girl-ier voice. Edward.. i think that Robert Pattinson was the best actor out there for the character. Emmet, and Alice were PERFECTTT! i think Alice is the best matchup they have. Jacob is perfect! Taylor Lautner is the only guy out there for the part. Rosalie could've been prettier, Jasper was good. And Charlie was perfect too.

First off, i saw the movie before it came out, 4 free, and in a private theater. That said, I think that the actors who played alica and jasper were perfect for the roles in both ways.
kristen was good looks wise but she was terrible at her acting. robert pattinson - perfect. rosalie couldve been prettier. i was pissed about theyre first kiss being in her room and not the meadow and about the bloodtyping. liked the movie, loveddd the book more.
really i did not read the book until after i watched the movie and the only reason why i read it is just because a lot of my friends said the was better which it was but i think the cast was a very good pick and i think that they should have left where she told him she knew he was a vampire and the scene that i wish they would have keep was the meadow scene i know they put it there but in the book it was way better. and i absolutely love twilight.

I saw the movie first, one would think it makes you fit the movie into the book as in how you imagine the characters to look or to act but it's not like that. The description and dialogue in the book makes you form an idea and you can compare.I think the best character matches in 'acting' are Edward, Carlisle, Alice, Mike. Those who weren't really accomplished, for me, were Jasper because he didn't have much screen time and Jessica more because script changes related than the actress acting...
I think also taylor goes perfect with jacob, ashely goes great with alice, niki goes great with rosalie, kellan goes great with emmet, peter goes good with carlsile, and kristen goes perfect with bella

I think that Emmett was the most like how I imagined him and I think that, no offence, but Rob as Edward just didn't match in my head. I pictured Edward as a brownish/red headed person who has a six pack. I'm sorry I'm shallow but -shrugs- I guess Rob did a good job of playing Edward. Who else could pull off playing a perfect man, right?
Hmm. I'm torn. I thought Rob did the best with Edward's character. I was a little disappointed with kristin - Monotone, much? And I'm furious that they cut key relationship scenes, like her waking up to him in the morning and him asking her all those questions about herself. Also, there wasn't enough of the other Cullens in the film. Alice has a stronger role in the story overall. Also, Nikki as Rosalie was nice but Rosalie has a more pronounced beauty.
Im 100% sure that there will be a seqel so no worries there I too went to the midnight show and let me tell you it was freaken awsome! The one thing that turned me off was the fact that at the end edward brought up the "wolf desendents"! I mean come on she doesnt know about the wolfs yet....duh! But other than that i give it a 2 thumbs up! great vido by the way!!!!

robert has done a great job!!!!!very talenful actor!!!!but he should be more attractive as it is described in the book...but they have cut so many scenes that didn't give him the time to develop his exact character,u know the attractive- funny sarcastic- beautiful vampire...but i still believe that he is the best for this role!!
one scene that got cut out/shown too soon ,which i was REALLY pissed about and so was a few of my friends, was that in the book the ONLY time bella seen the jeep was when they drove to plat baseball. In the movie they showed the jeep WAY before the baseball scene and the cullens drove it too school. GAH i was pissed.. Robert Patterson fit Edward best and I think james fit least...
bella is a good match... perfect, but robert as edward, i expected him to be a lot more attractive, at least the way the book describes him, he should be remarkably beautiful... and by the way, youre good at public speaking.

Thank you, liljp123. I mean, Taylor just doesn't suit the part for Jacob. You are right. You are also right about their being some nice, fan made trailers with Steven Strait in them. Steven is a great actor, and would protray Jacob well. Taylor, needs to man up..thats all i have to say.

there was another scene cut out: instead of Bella going to the airport with Jasper and Alice in Pheonix in the book, she went straight to the Ballet Studio to meet James from the Hotel, not at the girls bathroom at the airport.

Finally someone who thinks this. I really dont want Taylor to be Jacob in the next movie because when I see him, I think he is twelve. So why would Bella ever develop feelings for him? The only reason why their pretty much keeping him is because the fans love him and want him to be in the movie. In my opinion, I would think Steven Strait would be the best Jacob. Watch some good fanmade new moon trailers and you'll see what I mean, If people dont like taylor in this movie, its their fault.

Well - First off, Taylor Lautner looked a lot like what I pictured Jacob to look like (human form anyway...)But - overall - I think Emmett was the best character match!

i think the best character matches are Edward and Alice, they were fantastic! i think Kristen LOOKS like how i pictured Bella, but the way she portrays bella's personality and lines is different. i didnt think Bella was so... quiet and calm. like she took very serious/'desperate' lines and made them calmer. i dont know, i still like her though! just my opinion. i went to the midnight showing of twilight, one word: FANTASTIC!

I saw the movie first, one would think it makes you fit the movie into the book as in how you imagine the characters to look or to act but it's not like that. The description and dialogue in the book makes you form an idea and you can compare.I think the best character matches in 'acting' are Edward, Carlisle, Alice, Mike. Those who weren't really accomplished, for me, were Jasper because he didn't have much screen time and Jessica more because script changes related than the actress acting...

I think that Emmett was the most like how I imagined him and I think that, no offence, but Rob as Edward just didn't match in my head. I pictured Edward as a brownish/red headed person who has a six pack. I'm sorry I'm shallow but -shrugs- I guess Rob did a good job of playing Edward. Hmm. I'm torn. I thought Rob did the best with Edward's character. I was a little disappointed with kristin - Monotone, much? And I'm furious that they cut key relationship scenes, like her waking up to him in the morning and him asking her all those questions about herself. Also, there wasn't enough of the other Cullens in the film. Alice has a stronger role in the story overall. Also, Nikki as Rosalie was nice but Rosalie has a more pronounced beauty.

The one thing that turned me off was the fact that at the end edward brought up the "wolf desendents"! I mean come on she doesnt know about the wolfs yet....duh! i was pretty happy that they moved the part where Bella finds out Edwards a vampire, into the woods. i think it was good there, and then they would easily run off to the meadow.
all in all, i thought the book and film were tremendous.

one scene that got cut out/shown too soon ,which i was REALLY pissed about and so was a few of my friends, was that in the book the ONLY time bella seen the jeep was when they drove to plat baseball. In the movie they showed the jeep WAY before the baseball scene and the cullens drove it too school. GAH i was pissed.. Robert Patterson fit Edward best and I think james fit least...

bella is a good match... perfect, but robert as edward, i expected him to be a lot more attractive, at least the way the book describes him, he should be remarkably beautiful... and by the way, youre good at public speaking.

Well, i think the better match that i found is Ashley, who plays Alice, i mean, she's my fav caracter, and i think Ashley did an awsome job. The entire cast is great, but i got to admit that the one that looks the least as how i imagine is Kristen, don't get me wrong, she is beautiful and a really talented actress, but i picture a diferent Bella in the book. Rob is pretty close to how i picture Edward, and Peter, hey!! Carlisle does looks like a movie star, haha!!!

Robert did a great job as Edward. But Kristen has the best mannerism, she is a perfect match.

most deffinetly Edwards character was mached the best and I hate what they did to the medow seen.. otherwise loved it!!!!!
