i retested my settings ! i can reach 435 km/h with charge compensation OFF and a setting for increase top speed for some motor with DCC, without this setting i reach "only" 320 km/h (i measured it with a chronometer and a loop build with EZ track, better for the precision of lenght, and on 10 laps)
maybe you can run faster with your ESU, if you have settings for the motor, the Lenz has some settings like charge compensation or type of motor, when you change this setting the motor change is sound (due to form of current made by the decoder) and also the speed can increase, or decrease, look in your CV table for this

Why is Lenz decoder faster than ESU?

use a lenz silver DCC decoder and you will beat 450 km/h, but check your curves !
