@XvoicewithinX for me it is rare when they pop.  I will only pop maybe 1 our 2 for every 100 balloons

I bet the paint pens must take a while to dry though...? I'd hate to give a kid a balloon with wet paint pen on it.. I could imagine the disasters.

Some do, but the Sharpie brand (hard to find trust me) work the best.  They take about two minutes to dry. For small childdren I just use a black sharpie.

The colors on the bear are outstanding. What type of pens do you use? Or is that a trade secret?

I use Sharpie Markers and the eyes were made with Sharpie Paint Pens. Elmers makes paint pens too but they are to runny and don't work well on balloons. Sharpie paint pens can be found at any art store.

I'm glad you have the lock twist in your videos. When I first started twisting other twisters would tell me I should use it but not tell me what it was. when i watched your dog video I was like so thats what it is.

A better close up of the lock twist is on my balloon dog video. If you put leaves on your flower stems do that to. However I have cound that leaves make the center of the stem rather fragile. So I either braid them or just leave a strait balloon.
