  • You refer to Bette Davis as "First Lady of the American Screen."

I was under the assumption that Helen Hayes, and Lillian Gish, were the first in many early movies. Does anybody know?

  • I hope they DON"T remake it....impossable to fill Bette Davis' shoes and no one else could do that role justice.

  • This movie was pretty cool, and creepy. I actually like the ending they picked instead of the "original" (which was only the edited version), the vagueness of it added to the creepiness. If done right it'd be awesome for a re-make...IF DONE RIGHT (let me reiterate that). The ending would make more sense if they went back and tried to stick closer to the book, which apparently kind of explained everything better lol.

  • They put more thought into the Trailer than the movie. Bette deserved better.

  • I rented a year ago and gave it to my mom, she was like..."This was a disney movie?". Yup, it was. Good one too. For anyone who wants to show your kids a good little fright film this is it or Gremlins.

  • It's a shame that this was edited (at Di$ney's demands). They did not want their name included since it was being released by Anchor Bay. The last shot of the TV Spot is replaced with the last shot of the trailer (you have posted here), because it doesn't mention or show Di$ney. Luckily I have a copy of the original - need to upload it here sometime.
