Great models!! I have just tried a few of those in your gallery...hopefully will be able to fold the rest too...the complicated models get really frustrating at times!!
Hehe, I'd have to agree with you, many of the complex models out there are quite frustrating. The ones in this video weren't too hard. I've created a few even more complex ones since then (most of them from Satoshi Kamiya, who is known for his super-complex models.)
If you would like me to direct you to some fun beginner models, or some harder ones that have easy to follow diagrams, let me know :)
Keep working at it - the best way to improve is to keep practicing.
u used foil paper on the scorpion one didnt you? lol cause it looked worn out.umm can u give a link to the scorpion and the rose brooch? thanks and nice video
awesome video!! i loved the rat! it was my favorite, i used to be big into origami. i could make some cool stuff, but then i just stopped.. keep up the good work! im subbing! :)
I also slowed down on my origami obssession. Lol. I've made a few new models that are much more complex than anything seen in this video, but I'm going to wait until I've made more before I create another gallery video.
If ever you make a video of your origami stuff or if you get back into it, you can message me and I'll be sure to take a look. =)
Do you happen to know the butterfly by Robert J. Lang? I bought his book on folding insects, but the folds are too complicated to follow. I was hoping I could find a video how-to =P.
I'm not sure if I can make a instructional video on it at the moment, but maybe I can help explain the steps? Also, which insect book do you have? (I have his second insect book, but I don't have the first one.)
Sorry for taking so long to reply. The book is titled "Origami Insects and Their Kin, step by step instructions in over 1500 diagrams". I don't know if it's the first one or his second. The part which I have trouble understanding if form step 29-33. I would greatly appreciate it if you can help explain.
Cool models! I especially liked the Yoda with the gold foil. Btw, the frog is by Kawasaki... in case you wanted to know... one of the most awesomest models ever. :D Keep up the good work!
Well, it shows you the name of the model and the creator of the model in the Description and in the video, so if you see an interesting model in the video you'd like to fold you can see the name and search for the diagrams.
If you're interested in videos showing how to make them, I will be making those shortly as well, once summer break starts and I have enough time on my hands.
I made 11 out of 20 of those models

OHMYGAWD.
I am completely in love with the turtle from Lang. I wish I could learn how to make one.
I don't really have patience with origami.
I was trying to learn the Kawasaki Rose. But some videos are confusing and the diagrams make my brain explode.
; 3 ; the only thing I really know how to make, are probably the easiest. Wee Origami stars and the crane. xD
